    Why LIVING Soul Astrology?


    Master yogis and great sages over the ages have told us that there is a living truth, a reality, that we are unaware of because we are blinded by an illusion of separation. Yet... the only way to know this reality is through our own direct experience...

    In Esoteric Astrology, the Tibetan Master D.K. explained that we are evolving in stages, from instinct, through intellect, to intuition and illumination. Currently the majority of humanity is at the intellect stage. The intuition stage is where we can perceive energy directly in our own experience. At this stage most of us only have glimpses of intuition.

    In terms of our journey of spiritual awakening, astrology is not the easiest of paths to walk. Even the Tibetan was cautious about sharing “knowledge“ that could simply feed the intellect. But the knowledge he shared, points us in the right direction, beyond intellect, and so he decided it was worth it.

    It was always known in the great mystery schools of ancient times that the majority of students would get stuck at the level of intellect, and never progress beyond it to the awakening of the third eye. In other words, to be able to perceive energy directly, intuitively. Yet this direct experience, is the only way to know the living truth, the reality, of which the ancient ones spoke, and of which we are a part.

    The prefix “eso” means inner. So, with it's root in esoteric astrology, Soul Astrology is by nature the astrology of your inner world.

    The purpose of esoteric astrology, and Soul astrology, is to support us in going beyond the intellect: intuitively connecting with the divine living energy field of reality, within which we arise and are never separate from.     Origin

    Soul Astrology emerged from Esoteric Astrology, which in turn is part of a work known as “A Treatise On The Seven Rays” by Alice Bailey. Esoteric Astrology was transmitted to Alice Bailey by a Tibetan Lama, and so the origin of Soul Astrology lies in an Ancient Wisdom, thousands of years old, which is strongly associated with Tibetan Buddhism.

    About Ruth

    Ruth Hadikin BSc. graduated with a first class honors degree (summa cum laude) in midwifery. She has Cancer Rising with Sun in Gemini and Moon in Leo. In addition to her many ‘roles’ in this lifetime she has been an ongoing student of astrology, esoteric, and spiritual teachings since she was 19 years old.

    Ruth loves world travel, and has travelled extensively in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, USA, Australia, Kenya, Egypt, India, Nepal and Tibet. She has lived in England, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, and the USA.
